Freeze what you count
A supervisor chooses the bins, items or lots to count and starts the count. Movements in that scope pause, and the floor page explains why. Operators record what they find, including explicit zeros, and a recount replaces the earlier figure.

Bring in a CountBench file
Counted with the free CountBench tool? For whole-unit items without lots, a supervisor can import its results file into the active count. The file is shown with its fingerprint and the scope it covers. Uncounted rows stay unknown and are never set to zero.

Review, then correct
Review shows the recorded quantity, the accepted count and the difference, with any reservation affected. A supervisor applies the correction with a reason and a recent two-factor check. A reservation the stock no longer covers becomes a visible shortfall.

What StoresFlow does not do
- Automatic corrections. A count or a CountBench file is an observation until a supervisor applies it.
- Setting an uncounted item to zero.
- Stock valuation. Purchase orders are prepared and approved in SmartFACT Purchasing.
Common questions
Can we use CountBench for counts?
Yes, for whole-unit items without lots. A supervisor imports the CountBench results file into an active count. Its figures are observations: uncounted items stay unknown, an entered zero stays zero, and nothing changes until a supervisor reviews and applies the correction.
Trials are by invitation and start with one agreed workflow. Scope and arrangements are agreed with you before access.
